Proposals for a local list of buildings and additional conservation areas
In November 2009 The Society published proposals for a local listing scheme to draw attention to individual buildings which, although not qualifying for national listing, are important and worthy of protection. The document also included proposals for five new Conservation Areas to complement the three the town already has.  We are very pleased to report that Horsham District Council’s cabinet has now approved the preparation of a Local List for Horsham.
