I write on behalf of the Horsham Society to welcome
the proposal for this site.
The Society notes that the proposal is to build 17
houses and 21 flats on the site of the existing
buildings and considers that the use of the site for
this purpose is entirely appropriate.
The Society also notes that the layout retains the
sense of open space at the junction of New Street with
Station Road and provides an opportunity for some
well-chosen planting. It particularly welcomes the
design of the buildings to add their own distinctive
contribution from the present to meet the future needs
of the town.
