whole of the Horsham district.
The Resident is an excellent free weekly newspaper

Horsham & Southwater Forum is an online community
forum for local residents & businesses. Current
forum topics include: non-smoking pubs, hose pipe ban,
Horsham house prices.
The
West Sussex Design Commission
was set up by West Sussex County Council as an
independent body. It responds to concerns about
the expected type and volume of future building, and
the community's reaction to this. In addition it
has a Wider Reference Network (WRN) which includes a
great number of people who can offer help, advice and
expertise.
Saxon Weald Homes,
the main local housing association, owns and manages
4500 homes in the Horsham district.

Open Spaces Society protects
common land and public rights of way.
The
Civic Trust has campaigned and worked in
regeneration and urban development since 1957. It is
the umbrella body for 700 Civic Societies across the
country which it represents on its
portal site.
iCAN is the BBC's campaigning website, which
allows you to register your issues on the site and get
involved with local projects.
Horsham in Bloom
is improving the town by means of floral impact,
landscaping, conservation and tackling litter &
graffiti, involving as wide a cross-section of the
community as possible and contributing to commercial
success
The purpose of the
Friends of Horsham Park is to conserve and enhance
the natural beauty, wildlife and cultural heritage of
the Park, and to influence and promote opportunities
for the public to understand and enjoy the Park.

Federation of Sussex Amenity Societies.

founded in 1945 to promote an interest in horticulture
and to encourage gardening in Horsham and the
surrounding district.

archive of material relating to the origins &
development of the village. Its website includes
a list of historic buildings, parish records1850-1901,
and items on the demolition of the brickworks and the
