
Warnham Mill Pond - June 2007
Warnham Nature Reserve seems to have a
relatively low profile among local residents, but it's
highly regarded by nature lovers from all over the
county and beyond. Current attractions (June
2007) include a breeding pair of Common Terns (another
pair is waiting for an obstinate Greylag Goose to
vacate the second Tern Raft). The resident Mute
Swans have 7 cygnets, the Great Crested Grebes have 3
young, and there are Mallard ducklings
everywhere. And that's just the birds -
