The Nuthurst Society was founded in 1973 from an idea put
forward by Jennie Smith and Sheila Charnley.
It continues to grow from strength to strength,
and the members have a lot of fun.
The aims of the Nuthurst Society are to promote
community spirit within the area, to organise
social and cultural activities and to maintain
the rural conservation of the area.
