Homestream Bridge
reopens
The footbridge at Homestream House, which forms part of the popular Horsham
Riverside Walk, was the subject of controversy earlier this year
when the management announced that it was unsafe and
would be closed indefinitely.
We took action and
found that, although it is not a designated public right of way,
access to the bridge is guaranteed by an agreement between Horsham District Council and the
original developers of Homestream House.
In the light of this
the management were happy to repair and re-open the
bridge. Work was carried out during November, and the refurbished bridge -
with improved non-slip surface - is finally open to the public
again. |
